Fellowship since 1973
There is life after Apex
Apex 40 brings past Apexians, their partners and families together for continuing fellowship. Local get-togethers, a national Rort every year, and friendships that go back decades.

Fellowship, not fundraising
Apex 40 Australia isn't a service club. We're a national organisation for people who want to keep their Apex friendships going.
Our members are past Apexians, their partners and families, and friends from affiliated clubs. We catch up locally, travel to the Rort together and keep in touch through the Roaring 40s. And when Apex clubs ask for a hand, we're happy to help.
What membership looks like
Local get-togethers
Many groups meet each month or so for a meal and a catch-up. Find one near you, or start your own.
Find a groupThe Rort
Once a year, members from across Australia, and friends from affiliated clubs in New Zealand and beyond, gather for almost a week of outings, dinners and laughs. The AGM takes about 40 minutes. The rest is fellowship.
About the RortThe Roaring 40s
Our magazine comes out at least three times a year, with news and photos from groups around the country and a joke or two.

It started on a river cruise in 1972
After the 1972 Apex National Convention, two Apexians cruising the Swan River had an idea: a way for retired Apexians to stay friends. In December 1973, 52 people came to the first Apex 40 dinner. We've gathered for a Rort almost every year since 1976.
